That is a terrible story - I am very sad to hear it.  Especially that your mother died at such a young age.  I am not sure, based on the information you provided if you have a question.  Do you want the school to be responsible for not protecting your mother from the abuses she suffered?  This will be very difficult because of the time involved, and because you have only your mother's diary to go on, not actual testimony.  You will have to research the laws relevant at that time, to see if there was a duty to protect her from bullying.  I'm not sure you can press those charges after she has passed away.  However, I can understand your desire to not let this issue go without some recognition because of the effect it has had on your mother's life, and how it caused her untimely death.  Perhaps the diary and experiences can be used to prevent future bullying, as an educational tool.  Good luck with finding some peace for you and your mother.  ... you can ask for a trial in municipal court and the officer will have to explain the basis for 'pulling you over'.  however, a trial will present issues for a reasonable resolution. i am assuming that you had all the required documentation. if so, you can bring to court and explain the situation ot the officer and the prosecutor.  ed dimon, esq.... Is it illegal for a teenager to view pornographic material?

Answered 13 years and 2 months ago by attorney Diana L. Anderson   |   1 Answer
I think that it is illegal to sell or provide pornography to a minor in the same way that it is not legal to give alcohol to a minor.  Of course, what you do in the privacy of your own home, as a parent, is your own business, but it would still be illegal.

WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT MY CHILD BEING BULLIED

Answered 13 years and 4 months ago by attorney Diana L. Anderson   |   1 Answer
You need to get a copy of your child's school policy on bullying.  If there are children that are bullying your child, and the school is not responding, you have the option of getting the police involved.   If you know the children that are doing the bullying, go to the police and ask to have a report filed against those children.  Get a copy of the police report and take it to the school.   Has your child discussed the bullying with anyone?  If he is in the hospital now because he tried to kill himself, I am sure there are doctors and therapist trying to work with him and he needs to be honest with them and tell them the details of what is going on with the school.  get the doctors to prepare a report about what is going on and file that with the police as well.   Good Luck.... Answered 13 years and 4 months ago by Edward J. Dimon (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer
an FRO is a serious order which can only be changed by the judge who signed the order. you cannot violate the order. did you have the rehearing ? you would have to present extremely compelling testimony at the rehearing which supports your position. these are difficult cases to win. i would need more facts to determine if you have a chance to reverse the order. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600... i commited bigamy

Answered 13 years and 4 months ago by Ms. Karen Coolman Amlong (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer
I think it is highly unlikely that you will get prosecuted for bigamy under these circumstances, and you ought to tell your mother where to shove it, and how hard she should do so.    That being said, this whole situation is a disaster, and you need to address it now.  You need to whip out your checkbook, and go hire a lawyer who does divorces to help you sort out this mess.  You can also contact legal services in your area if you don't have money to hire a lawyer.  This "double marriage" problem is not going to go away.   Address it now.  A good lawyer will help you sort it out, help you get rid of the incarcerated husband, and move on.  Hope this helps. discrimination

Answered 13 years and 5 months ago by attorney Diana L. Anderson   |   1 Answer
I'm not sure from the information you provided what your question is.  Many senior apartments have age restrictions and do not allow a younger person to live there, and limit over night visits.  If your grandson was just visiting then the apartment has to allow that.  however, if he was living there, they do not have to allow that as they are restricted to people of a certain age, and they are permitted to do that. ... this problem is one having to do with safe working conditions. you should not be required to eat and expose your food to dust, dirt and fumes from the diesel shop working area. i would make sure that all the workers join in the request so that you are not 'singled out' for retribution. i would have the group make a written request with all the signatures. if the group is not successful, the group can hire an attorney to present your 'safety' issues to the employer and then to the state authorities. please keep me posted....
