Please take no offense at this.  All of us who read your question rely upon your grammar, punctuation and spelling to understand how best to address your concerns.  Without these basic social contrivances, that many take for granted, it is impossible to understand what you are asking.  Please have someone help you ask this question.  In its current form it makes no sense whatsoever.... Is it illegal to tell a story online and not tell people it's fiction?

Answered 6 years and 10 months ago by attorney Hon. Max L Rosenberg   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Criminal Law
That sounds like a very interesting idea.  Depending on what your story is about you might be ok.  There are limitations even on your freedom of speech. You should review what those limitations are (ie. hate speech, etc.)  If you intend to cause some type of distrubance you may not be protected.  For instance you cannot run into a theatre and scream "Fire." Be careful. You would be well advised to also send it in to the Library of Congress to record.... Read More

I am sorry that you are the victim of personel roller carts in your way.  I do not even know what you mean by "personel roller carts". Furthermore, no one should be throwing over you arguments to move baby carriages out of the way.  And finally, if people continue to leave roller carts and baby carriages in your way on the bus, you can either ask them to move or you can enter from the back or front doors of the bus to get around it.  There are no laws to protect you from people bringing their carts on the bus and accidently getting in your way. Good luck.... Read More

false restraining order

Answered 6 years and 10 months ago by attorney Hon. Max L Rosenberg   |   1 Answer
First, do not violate the restraining order.  Follow  the law and stay away from this person in every way including electronically. Second, you can always get a matching restraining order against them.  Finally,  there is a big difference between a restraining order and a temporary restraining order.  I imagine that you got a temporary restraining order. You should read up on it. Good luck.... Read More

Yes you can. Your personal freedom include the ability to travel where you choose without being restrained by someone else. When someone else restrains you or prevents you from travelling, this is punishable as a crime, known as false imprisonment. The crime of false imprisonment, sometimes called criminal restraint or criminal confinement, occurs when one person unlawfully restrains someone else without the victim's consent.False imprisonment can also be punished with a fine in addition to jail or prison time. Misdemeanor fines usually do not exceed about $1,000, while felony fines can be significant, exceeding $10,000 or more. If you are the victim of such a crime you should call the police at the time it is happening. ... Read More

As long as he is mentally capable of doing so, he may gift his portion of the property to whom he likes. That being said, a spouse in Connecticut can elect to take a marital share of the estate, provided he or she is still married to the decdent at the time of their passing. Upon the death of a spouse, the surviving spouse may elect to take their statutory share of the real and personal property passing under the will of the deceased spouse. C.G.S. 45a-436a. This means that a surviving spouse, whether it be the husband or the wife, cannot be disinherited in Connecticut.  However by opting to take the statutory share you are choosing not to take what is specified in the Will for you.  You would be well advised to seek experienced legal counsel. ... A national listserv won't give you local rates.  Even a local lawyer can only guesstimate how much would be involved in working with a person they do not know.  Find a local estate planning and probate lawyer.  You must do so anyway to probate your late husband's Will.  A Will has no legal effect until it is admitted to probate.... You absolutely can hire an attorney but it may not be worth it depending on what the stakes are.  You should look for an attorney with a good handle on Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) as well as CCPA for Connecticut creditor law.  There are not a lot of consumer attorneys out there.  Dan Blinn in Rocky Hill, Sergei Lemberg in Stamford, and my firm in Stratford have the type of background that you likely need. Good luck. I also called you twice but you left a wrong number. I think debt negotiation will likely be a better avenue for you and yield better results.... Read More

Did the Workers Comp settle for aproximately 45K? I am asking because his/her fee should be 20% on the Comp file.  The PI file would have 33.3% contingency fee.  Keep in mind, all your medicals and costs must be paid out of the PI Settlement as well.  Depending on the length of the case, those expenses can mount up fast.  Have you asked for your attorney for a settlement statement?  Please feel free to contact us back with more details if you need assistance.... This is a terrible idea.  As soon as this relationship becomes sexual in nature, he is breaking the law.  That means if either of them undress on camera, discuss sexual matters in a sexual way.  Suffice to say, an 18 year old has no business with anyone under the age of 16 (the age of consent).  I don't even understand what an 18 year old could possibly have in common with a middle schooler.  Not to put too fine a point on this, but if your "friend" wants to avoid trouble they will break off the "relationship" immediately.  Again, at 18, your friend should be going to work or to college and the 13 year old has not even gone through puberty.  Its just plain WRONG...
