WHAT IS " GRANDFATHER " CLAUSE ??

Answered 7 years and a month ago by attorney Hon. Max L Rosenberg   |   1 Answer

I don't see a problem with this.  You may want to register your dba at town hall and make sure the tax assessor knows the differences between the property belonging to the two businesses so that you do not get improperly taxed.

Can I get free consultation?

Answered 7 years and a month ago by attorney Hon. Max L Rosenberg   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Wrongful Termination
This does not sound like a defamation of character case. Were you a contracted employee or were you an employee at will?  If you were at will, they can fire you as they see fit provided there is no discrimination due to being a member of a protected class.

How does someone hire lawyer to draft letter to dept of public health?

Answered 7 years and 2 months ago by attorney Hon. Max L Rosenberg   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Medical Malpractice
I think we would need more information to be able to properly answer this question.  However, you should be able to consult with an attorney who can put you in the right direction. You should start with an attorney with a focus on personal injury.  Regarding costs, it would depend on the amount of medical records that need to be obtained.  Most attorneys otherwise charge a contingency fee which is a percentage of the total award, judgment or settlement. Please feel free to inquire with us further.... Read More

Will I be served with 1 or 2 violation of probation warrants?

Answered 7 years and 3 months ago by attorney Hon. Max L Rosenberg   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Criminal Law
At the time of sentencing for the two previous crimes, you were to have no further criminal violations. When you did, you violated both of the two sentence terms. Probation will likely file two violations against you. You will have to go back before the same Judge for this violation to be heard, and if you are found to have violated,  the penalty to be handed down. It would be in your best interest to hire counsel to address this immediately with probation in an attempt to resolve it prior to the report being filed, and then also represent him in Court with the Judge. This is crucial, and time is of the essence. We handle these matters regularly and would be happy to speak with you further. feel free to contact us at 203-870-6700... Read More

I want to know what I can do ??

Answered 7 years and 4 months ago by attorney Hon. Max L Rosenberg   |   1 Answer
You shold bring the contract to a an attorney who can review it and see if there are any ways that the contract does not hold up.  If this was a contract for home improvement, then the Home Improvement Act applies and this is a notoriously difficult law for contractors to comply with. Ban from a bar

Answered 7 years and 6 months ago by attorney Hon. Max L Rosenberg   |   1 Answer
In 1964, Congress passed Public Law 88-352, which included the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission as well as the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which focused on discrimination in public service or hiring. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits public accommodations from refusing service to customers because of skin color, race, religion, sex, nationality, or any physical conditions a customer can’t prevent.  The right to refuse service, then, means that public accommodations, such as restaurants, theaters, banks, gyms, and stores, can lawfully deny service to a customer if they feel that their business might suffer from engaging in such a transaction—as long as they don’t base that decision on the categories above.  Therefore, unless you were banned because of being a member of a protected class,  you do not have much recourse....
