Attorney Client Stealing

Answered 7 years and a month ago by attorney Bruce Robins   |   1 Answer
It is the firm that is representing the client, not any individual attorney, and the firm would continue to represent the client regardless of which associate is primarily responsible for a given matter.  Thus, there is no professional ethics problem in the second attorney handling the new matter for the client.  However, that doesn't mean that the first attorney would like it or the firm would allow it.  The second attorney may be compelled by the rules of the firm, or his own loyalty, to get the firm's and/or the first attorney's permission before handling the matter for the client.... Answered 7 years and 4 months ago by Ms. Lisa A Dunner (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Intellectual Property
If the PicRights image required a license to use, it may very well be entitled to a license fee for past use, but I do not know how they came up with the proposed fee of $1245.  You should review PicRights Terms of Use on their website to learn more about what they do and do not allow with their images.  Feel free to reach out to us if you need more assistance.... Sorry to hear about your dilemma. Save and preserve all evidence of the adultery. Courts in most states do take into account actions of an adulterous spouse when ruling on asset divisions and monetary awards. Discuss your case privately with counsel in Oklahoma. Good luck.

If you are thinking about working for another company, that company would have to sponsor you for another H-1B. That can be done at any time if it is a concurrent H-1B petition. U.S.C.I.S. will look at the company to see whether it believes that it would be an appropriate organization. The bigger the organization, the better. A company with no history, a small number of employees, and little revenue or capitalization would find it difficult to convince U.S.C.I.S. of its being an appropriate vehicle for an H-1B. The fact that the address and work description remain the same does not relieve you from the necessity of obtaining another H-1B to work for a different company. Are my husbands biological kids who were adopted by their step-father legally my husbands heirs?

Answered 7 years and 7 months ago by Gale Graham Allison (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Trusts and Estates
Even though your husband gave up these children for adoption, they can still inherit from him unless he left a will properly disinheriting from him but under any circumstances they are heirs at law of the probate estate and must be notified of the proceedings.

You can probably sue in either.  You should sue in the jurisdiction most favorable to you, assuming that your ex is subject to jurisdiction there.  Since you live in Oklahoma, that would be the jurisdiction to choose (why would you want to have to travel to SC for this case?) and since the dispute arises out of a contract which was executed and at least partly performed in Oklahoma, Oklahoma can probably exercise jurisdiction over your ex in connection with this claim, even if he no longer has any further contacts with Oklahoma.... How Long Does A Parent Have Temporary Custody Of A Child?

Answered 8 years ago by Stephanie Elizabeth Emanuel (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Child Custody
Sorry to hear what you are going through. If the current custodial parent and the grand parent is behaving such a way you will need to call the cops right away as your life is in danger when they put their hands on you. You should have called the cops and file a police report. If you did that tha you can use it to petition the court for child custody modification. As to your initial question, temporary orders are kind of like long term or at least until the judge can make a final decision on the case. That can be anywhere from 2 months to 2 years. If you require additional information, feel free to contact my office and speak with a case manager at 877-866-8665 or email help@smsattorneys.com... Read More

My husband didn't not come to myAOS interview what is my faith

Answered 8 years and a month ago by NA smsattorney@gmail.com (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Immigration
You already had your interview? The success of your AOS is dependent upon the facts, evidence submitted that demonstrate a bonafide marriage. If you are pregnant and have a child together, that is one of the strongest evidence. You should not worry about what has happened already. The results will be what you have demonstrated so far.... Does acceptance of an offer constitute a legal contract?

Answered 8 years and a month ago by attorney Bruce Robins   |   1 Answer
I assume from this scenario that you were supposed to be the buyer, and that after you accepted the seller's offer, the seller breached your contract by selling the product to someone else.  You can sue the seller for the lesser of (a) the difference between you agreed to pay and the value of the goods (evidence of which is the price the seller received from the other buyer) or (b) you can buy replacement goods on the open market and sue the seller for the difference between what you paid and what you had contracted to pay the seller.... How can I maintain fair custody of my daughter if we break up (unmarried) ?

Answered 8 years and 2 months ago by NA smsattorney@gmail.com (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Child Custody
Fair custody is not really possible unless you have a really aggressive and competent attorney defending and fighting for fathers right as that is what we specialize in. The court system like you said favors women and many men don't take the time to find the best aggressive lawyers that defend fathers. What do you constitute as fair and equal custody? Contact my office and we can certainly provide you a competent and aggressive attorney for your daughter. Please keep in mind that not all lawyers are the same, therefore be very cautious as to which attorney or law firm you chose to work with. Emergency custody name changes length of order

Answered 8 years and 2 months ago by NA smsattorney@gmail.com (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Child Custody
Sounds like a complex case where they are taking advantage of your situation. Did you appeal the order? Were you working with the attorney? I would need to review the current court order to see how I can get you your kids back. Please email me the court orders if you have at smaattorney@gmail.com also feel free to call me when you have time to discuss the case in details. Contested and complex cases like yours will take a lot of time and become financial burdensome unless you qualify to get a free lawyer from court and they are usually not that good. Anyway we have affordable payment plans if you need. Call me to discuss more in our free consultation.... Read More
