Yes but if u discharge your attorney, he is entitled to a charging lien for work done on any settlement proceeds recovered in an eventual settlement. If all he has done is written a demand letter the lien most likely will be de minimus. That being said ask him for the file to see the work he has done and proceed accordingly.... Read More

Not sure how he is following you around asking about your car - if the case settled  and he got money, there should have been a release from your insurance company. Equally not sure how you causing an accident equates to the victim ruining your life. If an inusrance carrier paid out money, they most likely vetted the case and claims that he is lying are likely unsupported. If you have concerns and EVIDENCE to the contrary, contact your adjuster and provide them the information you have so they can send it to the special investigations unit. ... Read More

If the judge ruled that you committed a fraud onthe court and dismissed your case for lying under oath 2 years ago, there is not likely much you can do about it. You probably should have appealed the issue back then, but bottom line is wont be much accomodation if the judge ruled you lied about your condition, even though you claim you "misrememebered" , and dismissed your case. You can hire a lawyer at an hourly rate to review the issue to be sure, but you are liely spending good money after bad. ... Read More
