What's really important is how the house is titled and what money you used to buy it. If the house is titled to you alone and you used non-marital funds to buy it, you may be entitled to keep it. It's a touchy area of law, however, and one that should be approached with caution.

How do I do I file for divorce if I havenโ€™t heard from him since September?

Answered 10 years and 3 months ago by attorney William R. Pelger   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Divorce
Sounds like you should discuss the details with an attorney. It sounds like a simple divorce as I have heard no mention of children, real estate, or much marital property. The problem will be serving him and having him comply if he resists. The attorney will file a complaint and attempt to serve him. It may cost more if the attorney cannot find him and has to serve him by publication. If he cannot be located, this will take more than two years. You may as well start now.... Read More

Can I sue a company for employing someone who had an affair with my husband

I cannot imagine any grounds on which you could sue. Pennsylvania does not recognize the tort of "alienation of affection." Even if it did, I don't see how you could hold the company liable.
