This is a contract breach or negligence issue. Its simply a matter of do you want to spend money out of pocket suing the company. Unless the film content is a national treasure like the Zapruder film, don't expect lawyers to consider getting involved on a contingent fee basis.

You can report it to the Attorney General, they may take acton to shut the business down. You could also contact the actual company and advise them of the rip off, as THEY may have interest in protecting thier product and take action. ... Read More

You can't have your cake and eat it too. You buy a usedcar and choose to have it serviced by third parties but expect the customer service and attention of an actual customer of the manufacturer. If you do that, YOU not the dealer will have to follow up with non-safety recalls and warranty extensions on your own. Hopefully the money you saved avoidin the price gouging of the dealer (which I dont disagree with) was enough to pay for the repairs. ... Read More

You may have potential claims against the first repair shop. Pursuant to Florida Statutes, mechanics are supposed to give you written estimates that clearly delineate what work they are going to perform and how much it is going to cost. If the first mechanic did not perform the required work or replace the equipment as set forth in the estimate, then you may be able to recover damages.
This is certainly a case that you want a professional, aggressive attorney to handle for you.... Read More

You can't have your cake and eat it too. How convenient that you made a poor choice and just want no responsibility for it, no repercussions to the person YOU are accusing of criminal fraud and that the bank should just eat all that money while your friend enjoys the benefit of the free stuff he purchased. Sounds pretty ridiculous when put that way right? If its criminal fraud you have your freind prosecuted criminally so he goes to prison like all criminal should and you will have a better chance of arguing with the bank about some of the charges. Short of that, you will have to accept the fact YOU placed trust in someone not deserving of it and your price to pay is YOU just bought all those charges and can spend your money and time suing the friend for reimbursement, if thats even viable financially. ... I suggest that you contact your credit card company, explain the situation, and ask them to do a "charge back." This means that the credit card comany gives you your money back even if you can't get help from the vendor. (This is one reason why you should ALWAYS use a credit card and not a debit card when buying on line or mail order.)... Read More
