I had a similar case where the client died and we settled for over a million. I don't know how badly yours son was injured but be thankful he is alive. If he has no injuries, the case has little value. If he sustained long term injuries, there is a chance of settlement, especially if the accident was not his fault which I am not sure I am hearing. Trouble. If you are DUI suspended and the police find out-60 days and a $500 fine and a one year license suspension. If it is not DUI related, ad one year suspension and I am not sure of the fine but I think it is $200 or $500. I would ask them to report it to their property insurance carrier. If that goes nowhere, have a lawyer send them a letter. Perhaps they will give it to their insurer which may get a response.
