Will i be able to join any military branch? If not, is there any way around it?

Answered 11 years and 10 months ago by Edward J. Dimon (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Traffic Violations
i would recommennd that we have the arrest expunged. after the expungement, you can legally answer under NJ law that you have never been arrested. after the expungement, we would guide you through the military application process. the military has access to records and also, requires that you make certain disclosures. the key is to be pro-active. we use a former militart person for the military guidance. have you fulfilled all the requirements of PTI ? when does PTI end ? do you have any other arrests ? the cost of the expungement would be $1500. please call if we can help. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235... I believe I have a warrant for my arrest from a ticket court date I missed years ago

Answered 11 years and 10 months ago by John E. DeVito (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Traffic Violations
The warrant is probably for a criminal motor vehicle matter. The nature of the matter, that is how serious the charge, may determine if you will have to appear at court or if an attorney can stand in for you. It also will depend on the court and judge hearing the case.  Contact an experience criminal lawyer.  A good attorney will know how to maneuver through the system, possible avoid having you appear and with some luck have the case dismissed on court costs.  For more information on defaults in Massachusetts see the blog section of my web site at www.johnedevito.com.... did you have insurance coverage for the damage done to your car ? if so, they will pay you for the worth of the car. for example, if car is 2000 model and is worth $10,000, the insurance company will pay you $10,000. if you put additional cost of $10,000 in the 2000 model, the insurance company will not pay you for the additional monies invested in the 2000 model. ed dimon, esq.... Can I retrieve funds spent on legal fees after successfully having a traffic ticket dismissed in court?

Answered 11 years and 11 months ago by Edward J. Dimon (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Traffic Violations
you can have a trial with regard to the four tickets. the state must prove their case. the problem with that approach is that you must be successful. if you lose, you will receive greater punishments from the prosecutor and judge. valter must, esq. is my partner. he is a former prosecutor for twenty years. he is a 'certified trial attorney'. there are very few. he could represent you at the trial. the legal fee would be $3500. in the alternative, i should be able to negotiate a lesser sentence, possible no points, if you have a clean driving record and you follow our plan. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600 ext 235... No Court Appearance Required box was checked in error. All accidents that result in damage require a court appearance.  What happens depends on your jurisdiction, but most will offer you supervision once you appear.  However, there may be some collateral consequences if you plead guilty - namely you are opening yourself up to a civil lawsuit for failing to reduce speed.  You may want to consult with a local attorney about the facts of your case.    ... How can i clear my driving record from traffic violation- insurance matter?

Answered 11 years and 11 months ago by Kenneth Oliver Wang (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Traffic Violations
Something seems a little incorrect here.  Sr-22 is a type of high-risk insurance required for people that have gotten an insurance ticket before.  Depending on what actual insurance your boyfriend had, if the car itself was covered on the day you were pulled over then they should not have done anything to you when you first showed up to your own court appearance.  If your license is suspended for SR-22 though, you can go out and get SR-22 yourself in order to become eligible to drive again.  You may want to consult with a local attorney.    ...
