and there is the problem - proving accusations of forgery, in the midst of the corona virus issues where tenants can't make rent in droves. Hopefully you have a written copy of the original lease signed by the LL that supports your claim. Otherwise, if the only lease copy available is a 12 month lease, you are running up a steep hill. ... Read Answer

No idea what you mean by "post a judgment." If you are a landlord and the tenant owes you $700.00 back rent and damages, you will need to decide whether its worth YOU paying legal fees and expenses to sue a tenant to claim such damages. These are NOt contingent fee cases generally.

So you took your dog to the vet, tried to tell the vet what to do, then when the vet said the charge for what YOU wanted to do the charge was $1,400.00 and  that you refused to pay? Not sure what you are expecting here, if the proper procedure WAS to adminster Lasix, and  you refused to authorize and pay for it, and your dog passes, how is that the vets fault or subject them to being sued?... While the story is tragic from several angles, if the son is an adult not sure how you or your wife get involved because of his criminal conduct unless there are some facts missing. You generally would need to retain a civil trial lawyer to address any claims made against you or the wife and possibly an asset protection lawyer immediately to assess the extent of your exposure. ... What can I do with a car that has no title that has been written off by lienholder?

Answered 6 years and a month ago by Mark Theodore Tischhauser (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer

Nothing effective. You have no title which is dramtically different than merely having a lien in the title. Check with DMV for options but generally you end up with a junker car you can't insure nor drive if you have no title in your name. You could also contact the lender and see if they will take a small payment to give you title. ... Read Answer

My dog was attacked in my yard by my neighbor,s dogs. The Vet bills are up to $20,000. Is there any way I can recover these expenses?

This will be a tought issue and it will be your daughter suing because its her dog, and this may revolve around the neighbors ability to pay or have insurance coverage the damages. Also, not sure what you mean by "got through the door" to the yard since if the gate was left open somehow, there could also be comparative negligence issues also to address. Your daughter may need to spend some money to hire a lawyer to address this. ... Read Answer

You will need to spend the money to hire a company to repossession the car and then get it re-keyed when you get it back and use a steering wheel lock so she cant take it back. She may have a right to sue you if you signed something giving her the car, but that can be dealth with later. ... Read Answer

Hmmmm this whole post seems off a bit. You are complaining that law enforcement didn;t review "a tape" the is presumably a surveillance video - and then claim you "re-recorded" over it? So what is it you think they should have reviewed and its not up law enforcement to "make an effort" to get your own video from you as a cliamed victim. This should have been something addressed at the time they showed up at the scene where you informed them you have a VSS and allowed them review the footage whcih presumbaly showed the crime and the perp. If you have NEW evidence, not "ooops it used to be there" evidence, you may want to make appointment to see the detective at the station and bring your evidence with you to see if that helps. ... Possibly - but its an expensive proposition as a starting point. This is not likely a contingent fee case as the largest asset the company may was just sold. If the sale is pending you may want to lawyer up now and file suit to see if that causes the new buyers to pressure the seller to resolve the issue. ... Read Answer
