Best bet would have been to start a pay-pal dispute and dispute the credit card charges. Other than that, the expense of multi-state litigation will likely out weigh the monies at issues so that it may just be money lost. Why this has been allowed to drag on unresolved going on two YEARS is astounding. If you have questions, you can always call us at 1-800-922-6442 for a FREE consultation.... Read Answer

YOu have what sounds like a CARMACK case, which is a moving company case undeer Federal law. They are very technical and have a very short time frame for claims and lawsuits. Many lawyers wont take them on contingent fee and the 5k of damages might not be worth the expense especially if you did not buy separate insurance. You should consult with a lawyer both in Cali and in Fl. ASAP about handling the case/claims.... Read Answer

Not likely. You should always know that money for nothing always has a catch. You can report to Attorney General but dont hold your breath about a refund and you will still likely owe the bank because you DIDN'T wait till check cleared, you waited until you got an account credit.

Unfortunately, this all revolves around whether a dealer was involved as it would involve Fla. Stat.501. If it was a private sale, your case is against the individual and will be MUCH harder to collect.
