I co-signed a car loan for friend.

Answered 11 years and 5 months ago by attorney Mark Tischhauser, Esq.   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Car Accident
Possibly. Many co-signors are actually co-buyers, and all owners of the car have liability. You need to hire a lawyer to review your paperwork.

Is it a criminal act if I accidently destory my landlords garage door?

No, but it sounds like your "identical" door was either not or it wasn't installed properly that she noticed, which could leave open a civil claim or lawsuit. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact our office at 1-800-922-6442 for a FREE consultation.

Unfortunately, hiring lawyers on third party property damage claims is almost never going to happen. Most lawyers won't take the case on a contingent fee (no money in it) and most client wont spend the money needed to retain the lawyer and fund the case or its not worth it to do so. I am being sued over a car accident where the other driver was at fault.

Answered 11 years and 5 months ago by Mr. John Michael Phillips (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Car Accident
You should speak to a personal injury lawyer about this.  Florida is a purely comparative negligence state, so fault depends on the circumstances and the accident report is irrelevant in a civil suit.   We invite you to review our verdicts, our accolades and awards, and what clients have to say about us and give us a call for a free consultation where our lawyers will sit down with you personally.  John represents clients in Florida, Georgia and Alabama with passion and compassion and is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, which means the Florida Bar allows him to be called an expert.  Only a small percentage of lawyers are able to be called an expert in this area.  Give us a call at 904-444-4444 or email John at jmp@knowthelawyer.com.... i was injured in a bike-car accident. i was the bike rider, and suffered a broken collar bone,

Answered 11 years and 5 months ago by Mr. John Michael Phillips (Unclaimed Profile)   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Car Accident
It depends on your insurance and the insurance of the person at fault.  Too many lawyers engage in this type of behavior and too many people put up with it.  You are allowed to get a second opinion. --- We invite you to review our verdicts, our accolades and awards, and what clients have to say about us and give us a call for a free consultation where our lawyers will sit down with you personally. No way to answer your question as phrased though something seems inherently wrong with the facts presented. An ER visit "just to be safe" should not exceed the $10,000.00 PIP benefits that are required by law. If there was more than that billed, then either the issue was more serious than protrayed or there are some shennanigans with the hospital billing to cause a "large unaffordable balance". You should consult with a local insurance lawyer about this issue ASAP. Also, if your mother was at fault, a claim may need to be made against herBI liability coverage for your sons injuries. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office at 1-800-922-6442 for a FREE consultation.... Do I have a case?

Answered 11 years and 5 months ago by attorney Mark Tischhauser, Esq.   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Car Accident
Possibly, but this would best be determined by a tox screen from the hospital. Typically, nitrous oxide stops affecting you, at the level that you would pass out and slam into a tree, within a few minutes after you are disconnected from the source. Legal Responsible for Damage

Answered 11 years and 6 months ago by attorney Mark Tischhauser, Esq.   |   1 Answer   |  Legal Topics: Car Accident
Not likely, as the vibration from a properly installed rumble strip would not cause such damage if driven over at a proper speed. This sounds more like an excuse to start a political controversy with the HOA. Oh and windshields are replaceable with no deductible under all Florida car insurance.Should you have further questions, or would like to retain our services, please feel free to call our office for a FREE consulation at 1-800-922-6442....
